Version 2.3 shall be superceded on the 20th of March 2008. Until this date, laboratory accreditation or product certification requests shall be accepted referencing version 2.3 in the accreditation or certification request scope. After this date, further 18 months shall be allowed to request an accreditation or certification extension of scope based on version 2.3.
